An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing, auditing, supervising and evaluating the work of Electrical Inspector 1s, 2s, and Deputy Electrical Inspectors, recruiting contracted Deputy Electrical Inspectors, and recruiting contracted Deputy Electrical Inspectors, ensuring electrical systems integrity, working with CORE (Comprehensive Online Regulatory and Enforcement System), and requesting/transferring inspections. Must be certified by the National Certification Program for Construction Codes Inspectors (NCPCCI), the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) or the International Code Council (ICC) as a One and Two Family Electrical Inspector and an Electrical General Inspector, and licensed by the State of Tennessee.
