Metal Shop QC Inspector Penn Technical StaffingMetal Shop QC InspectorPottstown, PAJob Responsibilities: Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tape measures, and other precision tools; Inspect fabricated parts, assemblies, and structural components for defects, accuracy, and workmanship; Conduct first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections; Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications; Complete inspection reports, non‑conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action documentation. Job Requirements: Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or welding environments; Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T; Proficiency with precision measuring instruments; Knowledge of welding symbols and inspection criteria; AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or similar certification; Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems; Familiarity with CNC machining or structural steel fabrication.
