The Role We are looking for an experienced fence installer who can run jobs, lead a crew, and get work done without constant supervision. This is not a helper position. Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead fence installations from start to finish</li><li>Manage 1–2 helpers on site</li><li>Read layouts and ensure jobs are installed correct</li><li>Communicate with customers when needed</li><li>Keep jobs moving efficiently and on schedule</li></ul>What Success Looks Like <ul><li>Jobs completed on time with high quality</li><li>Minimal callbacks or rework</li><li>Crew stays productive throughout the day</li><li>Problems are solved in the field without delays</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>Experience installing fence (wood, vinyl, aluminum, etc.)</li><li>Ability to lead and manage a small crew</li><li>Reliable transportation</li><li>Shows up on time and ready to work</li><li>Takes pride in doing the job right </li></ul>Compensation <ul><li>$22–30/hour depending on experience</li><li>Opportunity for per-job / production-based pay</li><li>Steady work—no layoffs when you perform </li></ul>Important Notes <ul><li>This is a production-based role—pay reflects output and reliability</li><li>We move fast and expect accountability</li><li>If you need constant direction, this is not the role </li></ul> If you want, I’ll now write the helper ad so it pairs with this and you can run both at the same time.  Precision Door Service is seeking a reliable and skilled Garage Door Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial garage doors and related systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.  As a Door Installer, you will be an integral part of the team. Your duties will include the installation of residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related components. You will interact with customers daily providing them with excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li> Install and assemble garage doors, tracks, springs, openers, and related hardware </li><li> Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues </li><li> Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections </li><li> Ensure all installations meet company standards and safety regulations </li><li> Communicate effectively with customers regarding services, timelines, and recommendations </li><li> Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition </li><li> Accurately complete service reports and documentation</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li> Prior experience in garage door installation, construction, or mechanical work preferred </li><li> Strong understanding of hand and power tools </li><li> Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and work in various physical conditions </li><li> Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record </li><li> Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus </li><li> Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li></ul>Preferred Skills: <ul><li> Experience with commercial and residential door systems </li><li> Customer service experience </li><li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul>Compensation & Benefits: <ul><li> Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience) </li><li> Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li> Paid time off and holidays </li><li> Company vehicle and tools provided (if applicable)</li></ul>Work Environment: This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
