The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various types of windows in residential and commercial properties. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.  Duties <ul><li> Installation of all types of window treatments at residential and commercial job sites; products include but are not limited to blinds, shutters, shades, draperies, window film and motorized window treatments</li><li>Coordinate with the office, sales team, and vendors to resolve any difficult installs or issues</li><li>Repair broken or damaged products and work with manufacturers to resolve issues as necessary</li><li>Canvass and participate in other lead generating programs</li><li>Measure homes and businesses for window treatments</li><li>Check in freight, label, and organize warehouse</li><li>Utilize tools such as an measuring tape, drills, table saws.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding installation processes and timelines.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Self-directed and able to work independently as well as with a team</li><li>Friendly, courteous, and pleasant with all types of people</li><li>Ability to learn and install new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Current and valid driver's license and insurance</li><li>Punctual and dependable</li><li>Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical conditions including on tall ladders</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li></ul>Nice to have <ul><li> Prior general carpentry/workmanship skills from any industry. Experience working as an in-home installer is a plus.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent completed education level desired.</li><li>Proven experience as an Installation Technician or similar role is advantageous.</li><li>Familiarity with power tools.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is preferred.</li></ul>Join us in delivering exceptional service while growing your career as an Installation Technician!
