cleans stretchers, assists patients with dressing/undressing, offers drinks post‐procedure, takes vital signs; makes patient safety a first priority; seeks assistance when performing an unfamiliar task; assists the RN with the nursing process by reporting observed changes in patient's appearance, vital signs, etc. to the nurse; recognizes an emergency situation and initiates proper action. Works either in RPH Endoscopy Center or hospital Suite as assigned, uses downtime to seek to help other areas, e.g., care of endoscopes, assist with prep/recovery care of patients, assist with procedures, assist with patient discharges, stock supplies, disinfect and make up clean stretchers, empty laundry bags etc.
