This role is responsible for managing private pay, subsidy, and agency billing while ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, payment reconciliation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Learning Experience is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support billing, collections, and accounts receivable operations for corporate childcare centers.
Responsible for the complete and accurate billing and collections of all hospice claims submitted for payment to third party payers including, but not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, commercial carriers, and any other state and federal health care programs. Performs all follow up duties associated with rebilling, adjustments, corrected claim submissions and collections of all overdue accounts/claims in accordance with best business practices.
This role requires a strong understanding of insurance coverage principles, compensability analysis, fraud indicators, and investigative documentation. Assignments may involve property losses, auto claims, liability investigations, and other insurance-related matters.
