Responsible for reviewing and processing record plats, checking municipal atlas sheets, establishing city monument lines and benchmarks, preparing right-of-way deeds of dedication, verifying, and preparing legal descriptions, prepares sketches for legal descriptions. Depending on the area of assignment, may provide office and field supervision of crews in conducting surveys, performing complex mathematical calculations, checking field notes, and ensuring necessary corrections if needed.
