The Functional Integrator is responsible for leading the design and development of an automotive ECU in the following areas: Electrical Hardware, software, functional safety, ECU diagnostics and software/ electrical hardware degradation strategy to ensure successful vehicle launch. Responsibilities include: • Designing of ADAS/Chassis features through hands on in-vehicle and laboratory development • Work with selected suppliers to make sure system meets all customer functional objectives • Interface with systems group to define vehicle level functional specifications • Develop and maintain system FMEAs and supporting functional Safety activities for features/ECU Experience : 1 to 5 yrs. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science • Experience with component/module release • Full understanding of automotive ECU development process • CAN experience including tools like Vector CANAlyzer, CANOE, CANAPE, neoVI • Outstanding communication and organization skills Preferred Qualifications: • Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • Experience managing suppliers and/or engineers • 3+ years of engineering experience (Electronic component or ECU development)  Powered by JazzHR

This position can be based in one of several locations, including Richmond, VA; Fairfax, VA; Washington, DC; Towson, MD; Columbus, OH; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Florida; St. Louis, MO; Southfield, MI. Travel is approximately 30% or once every two weeks for about three days (fully reimbursed).What a day at EXP has in store for youWork with open protocol systems such as Tridium Niagara (N4 version), including programming, graphical interface development, and workbench.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver intelligent building solutions.Support commissioning and energy analysis activities.Engage in client management and business development efforts.Travel to job sites and work both remotely and in-office as needed.What your experience looks likeRelevant degree or diploma in engineering (preferred).More than 5 years of experience with Tridium Niagara; N4 certification required.Strong background in BAS controls and understanding of electrical/mechanical systems.Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and project delivery.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Visio, CAD (Microsoft and REVIT), MS Project.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Ability to travel and be mobile for site visits.Base Pay Range: $100,000 to $125,000 (actual compensation depends on experience, certifications, and location).About UsOur Story:With a mission to understand, innovate, partner and deliver, EXP provides engineering, architecture, design and consulting services to the world's built and natural environments.
