Key responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on commercial HVAC and related building systems- Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, pumps, water heaters, motors, air handlers/rooftop units, and HVAC controls; recognize when specialized/outside service is needed- Complete minor plumbing repairs and general facility fixes to support safe, efficient operations- Support aquatic mechanical reliability by maintaining and troubleshooting pool/spa systems (pumps, filters, circulation, chemical feed, heaters)- Respond to maintenance needs and equipment emergencies, coordinate with facilities leadership/contractors, and keep work orders and records accurate- Travel between YMCA branch locations; keep tools, mechanical spaces, and work areas clean, organized, and safety-focusedWhat you bring:- High school diploma/equivalent; trade/technical training preferred- 3–5 years' commercial HVAC/mechanical/plumbing/facilities experience- Ability to read manuals/schematics; strong mechanical aptitude; valid driver's license- CPR/First Aid/AED within 30 daysReady to keep critical systems performing at their best?
