Overview: This position will have the responsibility for hourly or part-time management of Community-Engaged Learning administrative duties including scheduling and coordinating all activities related to Medical Spanish CEL including and not limited to Med Span CEL Lunch and Learns (booking rooms, ordering food, placing procurements), processing student reimbursements for health fairs, scheduling and attending health fairs, managing student travel and travel reimbursements, attending student or community meetings, schedule and coordinate events on our Engage platform (GivePulse) and other duties as assigned related to Medical Spanish and services as advised by the CEL department. Responsibilities: Fostering positive and collaborative relationships with community residents, local nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, businesses, and student organizations to facilitate health fair and health screening sites for the CEL department and all its initiatives by posting, managing and promoting the events on EVMS Engage (GivePulse), send invites and follow-ups, communicate with registrants, attendings/nurses and CEL office in a timely manner.
