p>The majority of Electrical Engineering co-ops and interns enter into the following positions:

• Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Engineers work on a variety of real-world electrical and instrumentation projects in a refinery setting.

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer at a Marathon refinery, you can expect to become familiar with industry codes and best practices, build critical thinking skills, and gain an understanding of how all engineering disciplines work together as a cohesive team.

li>Degree focused in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT Security, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Security and Risk Analysis, or other relevant STEM majors with Software/IT experience. Youll gain significant exposure to key IT and Software business leaders and benefit from a global internship support network designed to accelerate your learning and development.

Contribute to operating the newly-build advanced robotics lab at the Magna Innovation Campus Toronto, including communication with internal and external stakeholders, and the development of test and validation plans, including resources and materials. Work on the definition, technical feasibility analysis, and hardware and software specification of test solutions applicable to various advanced robotic technologies, including object recognition, machine vision, motion planning, tactile perception, and dexterity.

Preferred skills: CATIA, Solid Works, MS Office, MATLab, C+ / C++, HyperWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus, and Patran. Organize read across meetings and prepare lessons learned documents.
