<strong><u>Bookkeeper/ Data Entry Specialist</u></strong><br/><strong><u>Phoenix, AZ-FULLY REMOTE</u></strong><br/>Vaco is seeking a Bookkeeper/Data Entry Specialist to support in general accounting operations for one of our top clients in a fully remote position. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow professionally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a strong enthusiasm for data entry and accuracy. This position is contract to hire with pay up to $28 per hour. <br/><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Maintain accurate financial records by posting and verifying transactions.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Review customer invoices for accuracy before issuance.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Process customer payments and deposits, ensuring proper entry in our CRM (ServiceTitan).</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Enter and process accounts payable (AP) invoices.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Review and approve company credit card transactions.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Support accounts receivable (A/R) collection efforts.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Ensure all financial transactions are accurately and completely recorded within our CRM system.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Prepare and file sales tax returns in a timely manner.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Issue 1099 forms to applicable vendors.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 8pt 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Assist with audit-related documentation and requests as needed.</li></ul><strong>Required: </strong><ul><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Required)</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional business environment</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in;margin:0in 0in 8pt 0.5in;margin-right:0in">Proficient in accounting and CRM systems; current systems include Sage and ServiceTitan.
