The General Counsel's Office handles legal and policy matters for the SUNY system, SUNY campuses, and Community Colleges operating under the program of the State University. Approximately 30 attorneys work collaboratively and individually on matters that range from contracts, copyright, and labor law to maritime law, immigration law, intellectual property, and environmental law. Students with an interest in higher education and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply. Interns work alongside attorneys on a variety of matters. Most of the internship involves legal research and writing, drafting memos and legal papers.
