Department/Organization 212401 - Curriculum and Instruction<hr/>Rank Instructor<hr/>Position Summary The College of Education seeks qualified candidates for a rolling pool of Clinical Supervisors to support teacher candidates during internship, practicum, and field experiences.<hr/>Detailed Position Information The College of Education seeks qualified candidates for a rolling pool of Clinical Supervisors to support teacher candidates during internship, practicum, and field experiences. Supervisors serve as liaisons between the university and P–12 school partners, providing coaching, observation, and evaluation of teacher candidates in clinical settings. Appointments are made on an as-needed basis, depending on program and placement demands. Key Responsibilities · Conduct formal and informal observations of teacher candidates · Provide timely, constructive feedback aligned with program and state standards · Collaborate with cooperating teachers and university faculty · Complete required documentation and evaluation reports · Support candidates in meeting professional expectations and growth goals · Report any issues and concerns to designated department coordinators, department heads and OCE director.
