Bowers Accountants & Advisors is looking for highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented Interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our Audit or Tax team for the Audit and Tax 2027 Internship Season!<ul><li>Tax internships are in the Spring season (Feb/March timeframe - April 15th)</li><li>Audit internships are in the Summer (May/June timeframe - August)</li><li>You can select the season(s) you prefer as you complete our application</li><li>Bowers Accountants & Advisors is not able to accommodate any type of Sponsorship</li></ul>Responsibilities· Be a part of our Audit or Tax team and learn the business of Audit or Tax· Plan and prepare Audit services and Tax services as shared by our Audit and Tax Staff· Collaborate with our Audit Staff Accountants and Tax Accountants for further support and learning tools· Become familiar with and effectively utilize software in assigned areas.· Communicate concise and accurate project status updatesKey Objectives· Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers’ mission and client-centric philosophy in mind.· Learn about Audit and Tax processes and policies· Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.· Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with colleagues.· Actively participate in firm outings and activities as able.Qualifications· Active enrollment and a major in Accounting or Finance· Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting· Preferably pursuing the 150-credit-hour academic requirement toward CPA eligibility· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills· Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteBowers Accountants & Advisors has 2027 internship opportunities in:Syracuse, Rochester, Ithaca, and Watertown, NY.Bowers Accountants & Advisors offers a dynamic and collaborative internship program. The Summer Internship program is a three month exploration that provides a well-rounded, real-world look into what it means to work at Victaulic and in your field of interest. While the majority of the internships are held at our corporate headquarters in Easton, PA, we do occasionally support interns at other PA locations (Alburtis, Nazareth, and Allentown).Our interns spend their time gaining experience and working directly with their supervisor and team members. Interns should expect to take on ownership of robust projects that have an immediate and significant impact on their department and Victaulic business. As a Victaulic intern, you will be regarded as a great resource to our summer productivity.We seek to strike a balance between mentoring our interns, teaching them new skills, while providing them with a challenging workload and interesting projects. Through networking events, a buddy program, social activities, competitive compensation and more we hope to provide a rich experience that fosters development on a number of personal and professional levels.You will work with your recruiter to determine the perfect fit at Victaulic based on your career interests, major, and our departments needs.Qualifications:<ul><li>Major: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in EH&S, Safety, or related field.</li><li>Class year: Must be at minimum rising into junior year in college.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Interest in and ability to contribute to a team environment.</li></ul>Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
