What Youll Be Doing: • Determining creative and innovative methods and solutions for complex bridge engineering problems and select the most efficient and economical manner to achieve objectives • Assuring that the designs are in accordance with approved Federal, State and local agency requirements as well as following accepted industry practices and procedures • Providing specifications, estimations, quantity calculations, technical reports, and detailed engineering analyses • Reviewing supplier drawing submittals and performing technical bid analyses • Preparing and issuing specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents • May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a design engineer for intermediate to large scale projects.
