Guided by nurse educators, interns learn essential administrative tasks, how to stock and prepare exam rooms, perform EKGs, and conduct point of care (POC) tests (e.g., urinalysis, pregnancy tests, strep tests, and more). These internships primarily take place in Primary Care specialties, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, with additional opportunities available in Dermatology, Allergy, Pediatrics, OB-GYN, and Orthopedics.
