<h3>Desktop Support Technician – Enterprise IT Support</h3> Location: Oshkosh, WISchedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, Standard Business HoursContract Duration: Through 12/31/2026 (Extension Possible)Pay: $25–$30/hour Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship Required<h3> </h3>We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join a collaborative enterprise IT support team supporting end users across a national organization. This role is ideal for IT professionals who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and providing high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence by supporting hardware, software, and end-user technology while ensuring timely ticket resolution and strong stakeholder communication.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Provide day-to-day technical support for enterprise end users, including hardware, software, and device troubleshootingDiagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues (PCs, laptops, iPads, USB encryption devices, etc.)Support break-fix, imaging, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), and incident response activitiesTroubleshoot basic network connectivity, AV equipment, telephony (Cisco/Avaya), and OT-related devicesDocument incidents, requests, and resolutions within a ticketing system (ServiceNow or similar)Respond to escalated tickets from the Service Desk and ensure timely issue resolutionSupport Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Word, and PowerPointParticipate in small IT projects and operational improvement initiativesContribute to helpdesk documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base materialsEngage directly with stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and communication during incident response<h3> </h3>Required Qualifications:2+ years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Helpdesk, or a similar end-user support roleHands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end usersStrong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with operating systems, hardware support, and IT service management processes (ITSM/ITIL)High School Diploma with relevant certifications or an Associates Degree in IT or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or enterprise environmentFamiliarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar)Exposure to ITIL processes and structured incident managementBachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field<h3> </h3><h3>Work Environment & Team</h3>Onsite role supporting a team of approximately 12 IT professionalsCollaborative, ticket-driven environment with varied daily technical challengesSupport users across multiple locations nationwideStable, long-term contract with potential extension based on performance and business needs<h3> </h3><h3>Why This Role Stands Out</h3>High-impact enterprise IT support role with broad technical exposureOpportunity to work on both operational support and small IT projectsConsistent schedule with no travel requirementsStrong team environment with opportunities to expand technical skills and cross-trainThis position is well-suited for Desktop Support Technicians, IT Support Specialists, or Helpdesk Analysts looking to grow their experience within a structured enterprise IT environment.
