The Developer Internship will begin in January and end in June or August of 2026.What You’ll Do & LearnAs an IT Developer, you will be part of an agile team and will assist with research and fact-finding to develop and modify a data processing system. You will support the Systems and Programming team with writing and maintaining simpler application programs, generally coding from documented specifications. DevOps, Security and the cloud are an important part of what we do. Also, you will work on limited systems analysis work. In addition, you will be responsible for:• Maintaining existing programs and processes• Designing, coding, and testing new programs and processes• Installing and maintaining both custom and purchased applications• Developing, maintaining and supporting policies and procedures which are intended to protect designed computer programs, data bases and data files from unauthorized or accidental duplication, modification or destruction.

That Project Manager will ensure your internship is enriching and relevant to your coursework. <br/>You’ll help with construction observation, including measuring quantities and ensuring construction is completed to standards. There may be opportunities for exposure to surveying. You’ll review and edit engineering plans to create a product that meets Fehr Graham standards. Depending on the project, office or fieldwork will be required. Office duties will allow you to sharpen your CAD skills, complete basic design computations and help the project team complete deliverables. You will learn engineering standards and how state and local regulations are incorporated into design through work in the office and in the field. And you'll develop leadership skills that build autonomy.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>What it takes</strong> <br/>The best intern candidates are self-starters and eager to learn. </div><ul><li>You must be pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering. </li><li>You must be familiar with or able to read blueprints. </li><li>You should work well independently and within a team. </li><li>You should speak and write well. </li><li>And you should have strong analytical and organizational skills.
