Support Neighborhood Watch and community events with outreach materials and resident feedback collection; Assist in crime-prevention campaigns, producing safety flyers and conducing CPTED walk-throughs with supervision; Observe and learn 911 communications, patrol operations, and administrative coordination under controlled, non-enforcement settings; Develop a Community Safety Starter Kit, an Event Playbook, and a Lessons-Learned reflection documenting internship outcome; Engage with the public under supervision to enhance transparency and service quality. Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert moderate, though not constant physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (12-20 pounds).
