Support town hall quarterly meetings Create videos and capture photos that represent our culture Provide fresh ideas and new perspectives to our Communications team Network with senior leaders, associates, and other program interns to learn about our organization Tour Hussmann's 1.6 million square foot manufacturing facility, our Global Hub for hosting customers, and the R&D Lab where we test product quality Participate in community stewardship outreach, career development events, and other team-building offsite events Compete in the annual Ideation & Innovation Challenge Ideation & Innovation Challenge: Throughout the twelve-week program, all Hussmann interns will divide into cross-functional teams and compete with one another for the Hussmann Ideation & Innovation Challenge. Qualifications Currently enrolled in school pursuing a minimum of a bachelor's degree Minimum 3.0 GPA Strong problem-solving, time management, and team effectiveness skills Excellent interpersonal and written communication, as well as creativity Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization Self-starter, with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate strong attention to detail Ability to bring solutions to challenges presented on the job Highly motivated and eager to learn Strong computer skills Ability to relocate, if not local The summer internship will run from the third week of May through the first week of August.
