This is a full-time position and plays a key part in supporting attorney and clients throughout the immigration process, ensuring cases are accurately prepared, properly documented, and efficiently managed. Assist attorney with preparation and filing of immigration forms and petitions, including applications for green cards, work permits, asylum, U-visa, fiancé visas, and citizenship.

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant for a growing immigration law firm in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full-time position and plays a key part in supporting attorney and clients throughout the immigration process, ensuring cases are accurately prepared, properly documented, and efficiently managed. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), detail-oriented, and experienced in a legal environment with exposure to immigration casework. RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Assist attorney with preparation and filing of immigration forms and petitions, including applications for green cards, work permits, asylum, U-visa, fiancé visas, and citizenship. </li><li>Conduct client intake interviews and communicate with clients in person, by phone, and email to gather case information and assess documentation needs. </li><li>Prepare, organize, and assemble complete immigration packets for submission to USCIS and other agencies. </li><li>Translate documents and provide interpretation support for Spanish-speaking clients as needed. </li><li>Maintain accurate case files, update case management systems, and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all client records. </li><li>Track case progress, deadlines, filings, and status updates while ensuring timely follow-up and completion of required documentation. </li><li>Schedule appointments, biometrics, and attorney consultations, and communicate with agencies such as USCIS when required. </li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>High school diploma required; Associate degree in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field preferred. </li><li>At least 1 year of experience in a legal environment or relevant internship experience required (immigration law experience strongly preferred). </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish required (verbal and written proficiency). </li><li>Experience handling client communication, intake, or legal administrative tasks. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems. </li></ul> MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
