Kforce's client, a growing and fast-paced organization is seeking an Accounting Associate to support general ledger activities, month-end close, and core accounting operations. This role offers strong exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement within a dynamic environment. This position will be on-site full-time in the Saint Louis, MO area.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li> Maintain general ledger and record daily financial transactions, including AP, cash activity, and journal entries</li><li> Support month-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting</li><li> Perform daily reconciliation of trading positions and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy</li><li> Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor onboarding, coding, and 1099 reporting</li><li> Partner with external accounting providers (fund administrators) on close activities</li><li> Assist with audit preparation and provide support during external audits</li><li> Review employee expense reimbursements for policy compliance</li><li> Execute cash transfers and support treasury activities</li><li> Assist with internal compliance reviews and documentation</li><li> Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li> 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience (internship experience acceptable)</li><li> Understanding of GAAP principles</li><li> Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li> Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills</li><li> High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li> Effective written and verbal communication skills</li><li> Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li></ul> <div>
 The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
 
 We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
