Skills needed include IV therapy/phlebotomy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, starting and maintaining IVs, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, ABG interpretation, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation monitoring. Experience managing shock/trauma cases including gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations, pediatric trauma, head injury, near drowning, and spinal cord injury.
