Major Duties and Responsibilities:* Reads work order, shipping order, or requisition order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed* Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated ares by hand, hand truck, or forklift* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, color, or product code* Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and other stock items* May also distribute tools* Records materials or items received and distributed* May be responsible for inventory and inventory control* May be required to load or unload materials from trucks, trailers, or rail carsThe successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time.
