Counsels and educates patients in Perinatal issues including preterm labor, labs, diet, exercise, medications, menstrual cycle, breast exams, hormones, diabetes management, labor and delivery, fetal anomalies, and maternal complications. Performs initial assessment of patient's vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight, fetal heart tones, mental and cognitive status, collects urine and blood samples and patient logs of blood pressure and capillary blood glucose.
