A minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing complex social science research or evaluation studies that involve rigorous designs, including experimental studies, comparison group studies, fixed effect studies, difference-and difference studies, instrumental variables, noncausal studies (implementation, correlational or descriptive studies that do not make causal claims), and meta-analyses, preferably related to labor programs and activities of interest to the Department of Labor. A minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a principal investigator or in an equivalent position, providing the highest levels of expert technical direction across the various complexities of research projects; Experience related to evidence-based research clearinghouses or conducting and synthesizing information from systematic evidence reviews.
