Responsibilities & Expectations: Performing and documenting frequent neurological assessments including NIH Stroke Scale, monitoring and interpreting telemetry rhythms, responding to changes, ensuring compliance with stroke core measures, administering medications safely, coordinating interdisciplinary care, managing admissions and discharges, and maintaining a focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and patient safety. Unit Description: The 3B/3C Stroke Telemetry Unit is a 34-bed unit dedicated to delivering protocol-driven, evidence-based care for patients with acute stroke and telemetry needs, with a focus on safety and rapid response.
