Gathers, processes admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients, organizes the unit, maintains unit supplies and equipment, maintains a safe environment, communicates effectively, and utilizes technology. The Unit Clerk assists the nursing and medical staff by performing a variety of service activities and clerical tasks that ensures the efficiency of the patient care unit.
