Leadership & Team Development: Assist other hardware leaders in the coordination of growing a best-in-class team of hardware engineers, fostering engineering and operational excellence through best practices, modern hardware development methodologies (e.g., DFMEA, Design for Manufacturing, test-driven development), metrics, and continuous learning. Key aspects of this role are partnering with other PS Hardware Engineering Managers and the PS HW Engineering Director to assess overall health and performance of the Hardware Engineering discipline within PS, identifying opportunities for improvement, ensuring application of core engineering processes, assessing training and talent development, and overall program performance.
