Patient population includes neuro (laminectomy, cervical fusion), abdominal surgery, ostomies, hernia repair, total hip/knee replacements, PICC/TPN/lipids, fem-pop bypass, dialysis catheter insertions, BKA/AKA, PCA, epidurals, IV antibiotics, chronic pain management, sepsis, and urgent OR cases. Charge nurse role typically filled by Blessing staff on day shift; house supervisor may fill this role on nights and takes a smaller patient assignment to assist the team.
