Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification, which may be obtained after contract start; at least one year of Emergency Department experience; critical-care assessment and management skills; intravenous and cardiac-monitoring competency; triage, critical-thinking, and nursing skills including intravenous and intraosseous access, chest-tube management, catheterization, and management of critical-care drips. Responsibilities include patient triage, assessment, critical-care management, cardiac monitoring, intravenous and intraosseous access, chest-tube management, catheterization, and critical-care drip management.
