Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, medication and treatment administration, monitoring treatment effectiveness and side effects, documentation, care coordination, delegation, and patient and caregiver education. The position provides independent nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients, including those undergoing joint replacement, general abdominal, and spinal procedures.
