Skills needed include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, peripheral line care, chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac), high flow nasal cannula and oxygen administration, colostomy/ileostomy and feeding tube care, CVA care, administration of heparin, insulin, and PCA medications, isolation precautions/PPE, wound care/wound vac, and pre/post hemodialysis management. Provide medical surgical nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, respiratory support, and medication administration.
