To clean sidewalks and perform manual labor in connection with lawn andgarden maintenance. Occasionally, to operate passenger and freight elevators. To operate buffer and floor scrubbing machines. Job Description:
Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Lead Janitor. The Lead Janitor coordinates the activities of employees engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial and industrial establishments within dry and cold environments. SCHEDULE:<ul><li>Full Time</li><li>6am - 4pm Monday - Thursday</li><li>5pm - 2am Monday - Thursday</li><li>6am - 6pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday</li></ul>PAY RATE: $17.00 Weekly Pay RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Assign tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards</li><li>Oversee floor and carpet care employees</li><li>Issue supplies and equipment</li><li>Perform duties of janitorial staff</li><li>Appraise employee performance</li><li>Address customer complaints and resolves problems</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position</li><li>On the job training will be provided</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to follow instructions effectively</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):<ul><li>Ability to speak, read, and write multiple languages fluently</li><li>Prior cleaning or janitorial experience</li><li>Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards</li><li>Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing</li><li>Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance</li></ul>
