ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Perform routine and deep cleaning of public areas, restrooms, lobbies, stairwells, hallways, and meeting spaces • Restock janitorial closets with necessary supplies and ensure all janitorial storage areas remain tidy and well-maintained • Responds to carpet cleaning, biohazard clean up, public fixture repair and replacement, and water extraction needs that arise • Exhibit superior guest service abilities through clear, professional and friendly interactions with all guests and staff • Execute janitorial delivery orders • Support conference set-up needs when requested, including assisting with moving tables, chairs, and equipment • Possess stamina for strenuous work load with the ability to lift carpet cleaning machines, medium to large vacuums, chairs, tables, deliverables, and stage pieces • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays • Ability to thrive in a work environment that is never the same day twice, be self-motivated, and take pride in a job well done • Must be able to speak and write English. • Be able to lift, carry, and set-up various objects including but not limited to carpet cleaning machines, medium to large vacuums, chairs, tables, deliverables, and stage pieces • Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, vacuum, climb a ladder, scrub restrooms, public areas, and event spaces using a variety of cleaning chemicals.
