Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of OB/GYN physicians, pediatric nurse practitioners, CRNAs, registered nurses, and nursing support staff, with all nurses trained in lactation support and several holding Certified Lactation Consultant credentials. Nurses on our unit are trained to provide care across the continuum of maternal-child health, including Labor & Delivery, postpartum and newborn care, pediatrics, OR circulating for cesarean sections, and PACU recovery following cesarean births.
