Performs a variety of Milk Lab duties, including but not limited to: reconstitution and fortification of specialized formula, centrifugation and analysis of human milk lipid concentration and caloric density, human milk pasteurization, human milk and formula delivery, medical food and product inventory management, utilization of electronic health record and milk management software, interdisciplinary communication with nursing, Registered Dietitians, medical providers, Dietetic Technicians, and Lactation Consultants. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and problem-solving abilities related to ensuring the electronic health record is accurate, that the feeding supply is adequate, and that procedures, tolerance, and advancements are in place, with special attention to the timeliness of the production schedule, and advocates for breast milk management that prevents waste.
