Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology for MLT candidates or bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related laboratory science program for MLS candidates. Lab staff must wear appropriate protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, and face shield) at all times while in the lab and are regularly exposed to infection by handling potentially infectious samples.
