Overview: Under the direction of the Supervisor Technologist, the Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist performs sterile diagnostic, interventional radiographic procedures in 3 Vascular and IR suites (Siemens Artis-zee C-Arms) and assists in CT biopsies or catheter drainage procedures. Interventional Radiology experience including embolization, endovascular stents and stent-grafting, angioplasty, thrombolysis, biopsies, abscess drainage, hybrid OR endovascular surgeries, paracentesis and thoracentesis, and arterial or venous access management.
