We are seeking a Catheterization Laboratory Supervisor, sometimes referred to as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Supervisor, Supervisor of Cardiovascular Services or Cath Lab Supervisor. The Cath Lab Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the cardiac catheterization laboratory to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
The technologist operates specialized imaging equipment, maintains sterile technique, and collaborates with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels. Our Client is currently seeking Cath Lab Technologist for positions in Kansas City, Missouri for a 4x10 Days, 06:30:00-17:00:00, 10.00-4 shift. Weekly rate listed is an estimate and can vary based on the applicant's home location, VMS Fees, and onboarding costs.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to blood tests, urine tests, and microbiology cultures - Collect and prepare samples for testing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation - Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues as needed - Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care - Stay current with industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field - ASCP certification required - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Technologist in a hospital setting - Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic and rewarding environment, we want to hear from you!
