Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required: • A minimum of a two-year diploma or equivalent in any biological science or chemical science from an accredited/approved educational institution and successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Technology training program which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology; OR A minimum of a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology. Performs waived and moderate complexity testing according to CLIA 88 guidelines in one or all of the following fields within the Clinical Laboratory: Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation and Microbiology.
