She/he performs prescribed techniques, operates and maintains laboratory equipment, organizes laboratory benches for teamwork, provides materials for students, performs scheduled routine maintenance on laboratory devices such as microscopes, pipettes, and centrifuges, and submits laboratory reports to the assigned supervisor. Prepares and oversees preparation of laboratory material and protocols for courses including but not limited to the following: Biomedical Sciences (BMS) courses: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, and General Biology.
