Join Our Exceptional Laboratory Team!<div style="margin-bottom:11px">We’re seeking a highly skilled  Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Monday nights - PRN Shift, to perform a variety of diagnostic testing and deliver exceptional patient care at our Community Hospital. Here, you'll find opportunities for growth, a supportive team, and the resources you need to succeed.<hr align="center"/> Key Qualifications:<ul><li>No COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements</li><li>Received a bachelor’s degree in appropriate sciences</li><li>Must have a current MLT/ MLS license</li><li>Preferred ASCP certification</li><li>Experience with moderate complexity lab in a healthcare setting</li><li>Ability to effectively present information to team members</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.</li><li>Ability to solve problems with multiple variables in situations.</li><li>Basic computer skills/ charting system knowledge.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple QC’s/ testing based on order and lab capabilities.</li></ul><hr align="center"/> What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Provide a variety of diagnostic testing of patients</li><li>Assist in improving the overall status of patients.</li><li>Provide accurate laboratory results for the medical staff.</li><li>Promote safety, quality care for all patients.</li><li>Demonstrate proper performance of skills reflected and validated by the lab tech competency checklist.</li><li>Perform diagnostic tests in accordance with the lab policies and procedures.</li><li>Perform quality control, maintenance, and proficiency testing on all laboratory equipment and test kits in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations.</li><li>Perform a variety of lab tests based on laboratory scope of service.</li><li>Document and maintain accurate records on all laboratory equipment and patient specimens and results.</li><li>Adheres to all policies and procedures set forth by the facility and imposed by all regulatory organizations.</li><li>Maintain a quality, clean work environment in the lab setting.</li><li>Ensure your personal appearance is pristine while wearing company ID while onsite.</li><li>Responsible for complying with all compliance standards including annual MedTrainer competencies, and annual skill fair competencies.</li><li>Remain flexible in staffing patterns and staffing resolutions when conflict arises.</li><li>Participates in the team environment.</li><li>Demonstrate flexibility when changes in assignments are necessary to promote safe patient care.</li><li>Compliance with all attendance standards.</li><li>Promote quality lab reporting in accordance with state, federal, CLIA, and COLA regulations.</li><li>Remains compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and EMTALA regulations</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to regulations and facility policies and procedures pertaining to safety, emergency preparedness, infection control, OSHA, fire safety and hazardous materials.</li></ul><hr align="center"/> Schedule:<ul><li>PRN (Day or Night)</li><li>12-hour shifts, weekend availability, including holidays.</li></ul><hr align="center"/> Perks and Benefits:<ul><li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.</li><li>401(k) with matching contributions.</li><li>Life insurance and paid time off.</li><li>Supportive and growth-oriented work environment.</li></ul><hr align="center"/> Why Choose Us?
