Inspection shall include, but is not limited to, rail, ties, tie plates, joints, hand throw and power switch layout, switch machine and switch stand operating mechanisms, switch points, frogs, rail fasteners, ballast, sub-soil, embankment, bridge structures, culverts and drainage on right-of-way. Performs preventative, corrective and rehabilitative work on track and structures including, but not limited to, switch maintenance and adjustments, bridge repair, re-gauging, spot surfacing and spot lining.
