Important Duties • Perform routine landscape maintenance, including planting, mulching, weeding, pruning, mowing, and general groundskeeping • Monitor plant health and report signs of disease, pest activity, or environmental stress to the Team Leaders • Maintain landscaped areas around Commission buildings, parks, and public facilities in a safe and presentable condition • Assist with landscape improvement projects, renovations, and special event site preparations • Operate hand tools, power tools, and light landscaping equipment safely and in accordance with department policies • Support seasonal tasks such as spring and fall cleanups, holiday decorations, and event setups • Follow all safety guidelines and participate in required training programs • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently • Maintain compliance with department procedures, including proper use of equipment and materials. Minimum Qualifications Required: Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Availability to work assigned schedule Preferred: Some prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or park maintenance Position requires the ability to maintain a valid, up-to-date driver's license.
