Specific duties include providing supervision to the UKPD HealthCare operations, reviewing and approving reports, developing Officers, patrolling on foot, bike, and mobile patrol, enforcing the law, investigating crimes, building community relations, preparing and presenting testimony in court, providing security and traffic control for special University events, and completing University and law enforcement related reports. Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 100 lbs., sitting for long periods of time, walking for long periods of time, standing for long periods of time, handling intermittent periods of high levels of stress.
