Specific duties include, but are not limited to: initial file review, identification of coverage issues, diary, reserving, retention of defense counsel and outside investigators, ongoing review, diary, payment of service bills and final claim resolution. Retains and manages defense counsel on all litigated claim files, including suit budgets, plan of action, hiring of outside investigators and/or experts, planning of discovery, and negotiation of claims.
