The position will involve active engagement in the academic life of the Department of Biology, such as serving on department or University committees, serving as an academic mentor to a cohort of undergraduate biology majors, developing curricular materials, serving as a research mentor for undergraduates participating in a Senior Thesis, Master’s or PhD committees, and contributing to the development of academic initiatives. The successful candidate will join a strong community at Boston University that also benefits from close affiliations with programs in Biogeoscience, Marine Science, Bioinformatics, Computing & Data Sciences, Sargent College, and the School of Medicine.
