Courses offered by the department include: General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, NMR Techniques, Molecular Modeling, Quantitative Analysis, Physical Chemistry, Earth Systems Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Selected Topics in Advanced Chemistry. Humboldt strives to build a supportive and inclusive Native community and engages with Native communities through initiatives and opportunities like the annual California Indian Big Time, Indigenous People's Week, and a chance to network with other faculty and staff as part of the Cal Poly Humboldt Council of American Indian Faculty and Staff.
